NEW 2/24/10
Some Crazy construction starting at 590 and Winton Rd.
Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2011.

Construction is expected to be completed in Summer 2012.

There are some warm days and there are too many pot holes to mention. Be careful.

Watch for the MUD and Manure from the farmers. Could get very Slick.

NEW 4/21/09

Expect Delays on I-490

In Western Monroe County for the next Month Crews will be making pavement repairs between Route 259 in Chili and Route 19 in Leroy, Genesee County. Ramps will not be affected.

NEW 4/30/09

390 North

Major pavement missing-pot holes in second lane from left just before 590 split. Be very Careful, Recommend staying out of lane.

Ridgeway Ave

Right at the RailRoad Tracks that are between Dewey Ave. and Mt. Read Blvd. Multiple Potholes.

Rt. 104 West

After the Bay Bridge just under the overpass, right lane, some road imperfections. Recommend if traveling 104w to stay in middle lane until you pass the overpass then switch over.
NEW 5/04/09

I-490
A portion of I-490 between Route 259 (Exit 4/Union St.) and Route 386 (Exit 5/Chili Center Coldwater Rd.) in the town of Chili will be resurfaced starting tomorrow pending favorable weather.
There will be daily lane closures reducing the expressway to one lane in each direction. Road work will be restricted in the eastbound travel lanes from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and in the westbound lanes from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Paving work is expected to last until approximately August

MapleWood area

The Maplewood area off of Lake ave. where Seneca PKWY extends to Route 104 just off of LAKE AVE. It looks as if the city is on top of things, they just repaved this section. We are good to go, be careful of any loose asphault debris.

Chili Avenue and Union Street

A project to improve traffic conditions at the corner of Chili Avenue and Union Street in Chili is scheduled to begin today.The four-month-long project includes installing a left turn lane on the southbound portion of Union Street, also known as Route 259, and adding a traffic signal with a left turn arrow at the intersection to alleviate traffic congestion coming from Interstate 490.Motorists should expect lane shifts near the intersection while construction crews excavate and make drainage improvements. Once paving operations begin, motorists should expect lane closures in the area.


I-590
A repair and resurfacing project on Route 590 between Blossom Road in Brighton and Norton Street in Irondequoit is expected to begin today.
When work is under way, traffic will generally be limited to a single lane.


Darien Lake.Area

Roadwork is expected to slow motorists in the area for much of the summer.
It will start work to resurface an 8.5-mile-section of Route 77, between Route 5 in Pembroke to just south of Route 20 in Darien, and the 1.5-mile-stretch of Route 33 within the Corfu village limits, said DOT spokeswoman Lori Maher

Mt. Read Blvd. off Ramp

Starting July 10 - July 31 the East Bound Off Ramp will be CLOSED.
This will be an inconvenience for sure. You cannot get off at Lyle ave comming from 490E to 390N you will have to get off at Lexington ave. and circle back around.
